An outage at Capital One has stretched into a second day, preventing some customers from getting direct deposits or being able to use what money is in their accounts.

Capital One said the issue stemmed from a third-party vendor that “temporarily impacted” some services, CNN reported. Some of the impacted systems include payment processing, deposits, consumer banks, small business banks and commercial banks.

The vendor, according to CNN, is FIS Global and provides financial tech services to several major bank chains. According to the FIS Global website it also works with insurance companies, retail businesses, restaurants and governments.

The company posted to its @AskCapitalOne page on X that it was “actively working with the vendor to resolve the issue and restore services, and apologize for the inconvenience.”

It posted another message which said that palaces will be accurate when the issue is resolved and the company will “care for all reasonable fees incurred as a result of this incident.” The company also advised customers to call back on Friday “to avoid extended hold times.”

Capital One told Fox Business it planned on having most of the issues resolved by Friday morning.

However, according to Downdetector, a website that compiles online issues, there were still more than 4,000 reports of issues just after 9 a.m. ET Friday. Most complaints involved deposits.

But customers were not accepting the nearly day-old posts and are still not seeing their deposits.

One person responded that the biggest issue is not giving an explanation. While another wrote, “the lack of communication here is absolutely infuriating.” While a third said that their direct deposit was not posted on Friday morning.

Several customers threatened to close their accounts once their direct deposits were posted.
