TRENDING STORIES:

Our media partners, WCPO-9 TV, reported that Burrow said the break-in made him feel like his privacy had been “violated in more ways than one.”

Burrow also said he thinks there’s already more information available to the public than he would have liked to share.

“We live a public life, and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy,” Burrow said.

He acknowledged that the lack of privacy comes with the territory of being an NFL quarterback, according to WCPO-9.

“I understand that it’s the life we choose,” he said. “Doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.”

As previously reported by News Center 7, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that someone broke into Burrow’s Anderson Township home a little after 8 p.m. Monday night.

It is unclear if anyone has been arrested in connection to this incident.

The NFL issued a security alert to team security directors and the players’ union about “organized and skilled criminals” targeting homes belonging to professional athletes in November, according to NFL.com.

Break-ins were also reported at Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kecle’s homes, NFL.com reported.

It is unclear if these break-ins are connected to the burglary at Burrow’s home.

We will continue to follow this story.
