| Lion Apparel Unsung Heroes Contest | sponsored by: Lion Apparel |
This year, we are teaming up with Lion Apparel who takes safety and good corporate citizenship seriously. For more than 100 years, this family-owned company has been fulfilling the personal safety, readiness, and identity needs of its first responder customers around the world and in the greater Miami Valley region. Lion Apparel is proud to play a role in protecting these courageous men and women so that they can, in turn, protect the children of our communities. We want to bring attention to those first responders. Give us the name of a first responder you know that has gone above and beyond the call of duty and deserves recognition. Tell us their story and the five best stories will win a $100 prize provided by Lion Apparel for their first responder.
With offices in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Germany, France, Australia and Spain, our employees find great pride and excitement in our responsibility to “protect the protectors.” Our core beliefs keep us solely focused on our company mission: Each and every day, we fulfill the personal safety, readiness, and identity needs of our customers worldwide. In the U.S, Lion serves the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Navy as a primary logistics manager for their clothing distribution requirements, as well as the Dayton Police department for its duty uniforms, and many local fire departments in the Miami Valley region.
