Hi Nancy&Steve,<br> In 1989-1990 we were stationed at Yokota AFB in Japan. One time when my husband was deployed, we had a 6.5 earthquake. We lived on the 8th floor, of a nine story apartment building. The whole building shook, and was rocking back and forth. Of course, you could hear all the dishes and windows rattling. It was a very scary experience, and not one I'd want to go through again!
