Get ready to be scared out of your wits. This no "sissy" haunted house, but an entire demonic haunted theme park. There is nothing like The Land of Illusion in the entire area. The Land of Illusion has four very distinct and terror-packed attractions:

* Middletown Haunted Trail: Aptly deemed One Mile of Night Terrors, the trail winds through a forbidden forest as well as a field of screams. And new this year, visitors must traverse Area 49, a militia compound with a hydraulically actuated bridge, water hazard and an unusual set of demented, automated alligators and gigantic frog-like creatures.
* Temple of Terror: A Winding Catacomb of Suspense with many startling and unexpected turns, in addition to mummified bodies and skeletal remains ­ delivers the true temple of terror.
* Dr. Psycho's Haunted Estate:­ Beginning with a walk through an animated, fog-enshrouded cemetery, this diabolical dwelling of madness is a visitor favorite. Guests will encounter numerous bodies, corpses and skeletal remains, not to mention the ghoulish Dr. Psycho himself.
* 3D Killer Klowns: Dying laughing is no joke. For anyone with any kind of fear or phobia of clowns, this is the attraction to see. This is every clown-fearer's nightmare.

The Haunted Cave is the only underground Halloween attraction in Ohio. The cave is 100 feet beneath Lewisburg, Ohio in a long-abandoned mine. Home to ghosts, ghouls and creatures that exist only underground and maybe a few bats too. The Haunted Cave is Ohio's longest darkest and creepiest Halloween event period. This year we've made some amazing changes. Once you enter the new chambers, we dare you to find your way back out. It's not the same old, same old anymore and no price increase for 2006!

Tom's Maze
Date: September 11th to November 1st Fridays and Saturdays 1pm to 10pm (bring a flashlight to explore Tom's Maze after dark!) and Sundays 1pm-6pm. Weather Permitting. Last admission will be taken one hour from closing.
