So, I'm watching my friend Larry's cat this week. I know nothing about cats, being a total dog person. First day, the cat, Opie, hides under the bed. Now, he's my BFF, following me around, sleeping with me, watching the ACM's with me last night. Opie really seemed to like Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift. Lots of stars looked gorgeous on the orange carpet. Nicole and Keith looked wonderful as parents to be. Jennifer Nettles looked awful purty too, but I could have done without seeing her butt crack in her dress! Here's the list of winners, and pictures too...

Some notes...why did Brad Paisley drop his "cop a feel" line from "I'm still a guy" yet Taylor Swift took a shower onstage and Kenny thanked his parents for "having sex a long time ago." Eww...tmi Kenny. He did walk away with two awards, including Entertainer of the Year, which he groused about because it was fan voted this year as opposed to the Academy people. Shut up Kenny, come on! You're tied with Garth now for four wins in a row. Betcha ol' Garth would take it back in a heartbeat. Didn't Garth and Trisha look so in wuv?

Reba did a fine job again as host, although I believe the best country award show host ever has to be Vince Gill. Maybe next time.

So, tonight, Opie and I will watching DWTS finale, go Kristi! and tomorrow will watch our David Cook mow down Archie on American Idol!
