Did you catch our "Blind Date" event going on all week long? Thanks our friends at ActiveDayton.com and Stafford's Jewelers, we were able to "hook up" two eligibile listeners! Mark Forthofer from West Carrollton and Amiee Marsico from Huber Heights submitted their entries a few weeks ago and were chosen by our selection committee as the Blind Date candidates. It wasn't easy, as we had so many great folks to choose from! All week long, Mark and Amiee "interviewed" each other over the airwaves, until the Blind Date itself this past Thursday at Rue Dumaine. Christian Hahn and his wife Lois of Joseph Airport Toyota were our honorary chauffeurs to the dinner, which was hosted by John Stafford. Oh yeah, Amiee and Mark were blindfolded the entire time! Friday morning, the couple, (still blindfolded) were on air with us. At 7:45, off came the masks! At last report, they were exchanging phone numbers and making plans to go snow boarding at Mad River Mountain! Check out the pictures! Will it be a successful hookup? That's up to Amiee and Mark. But at the very least, they each have a new friend and stories to tell their friends and family! Congratulations Mark and Amiee! Happy Valentine's Day!
