When Animals Attack! (da-da-DA!)

A 13-year old Boston schoolgirl was attacked by a red-tailed hawk during a tour at Fenway Park.  Apparently A-Rod (her name is Alexa Rodriquez!) spooked the mama bird and got a little too close to her nest.  The girl had a few scratches on her head but was more scared than hurt.   You all know my run-ins with deer on the roadways...although usually they run into me!   And when I was little, my Grandma's rooster liked to chase me around the yard.  Good thing my Dad had big ol' boots!   Kerrigan got a bug bite yesterday but never saw it coming.   Lots of you folks have had close encounters of the animal kind...and believe me, it's not a Disney movie!    Here's one of my favorite videos of "attacking fish!"

  • Ducks
Who knew ducks could be scary? They are when they surround you quacking! Ever since I was a little girl when I am around ducks they want to surround me, so I prefer to enjoy ducks from a distance.
  • Ducks
I attract ducks - no lie. Every time I am somewhere with ducks they come and want to surround me - who knew ducks could be scary?? They are when they are all around you quacking!! So I have to enjoy the beauty of the duck community from a distance.
