Live Like You Were Dying--Want to know your "expiration date?"

A story out of London says soon they'll have a blood test that can determine if you're destined for Alzheimer's or Parkinson's diseases?  Would you have the test?  I would...if any kind of medical test could pro-long or prevent a disease, why not take advantage of medical technology or anything else to try and battle it?   It would give me a chance to get my affairs in order, say my goodbyes, try things I never did, essentially follow Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying" mantra.   On the other hand, if I could find out my "expiration date," meaning I would know what day I would cease to exist, I wouldn't want to know...not if it was from an accident or fire or something beyond my control.  I would be too paranoid all the time...and if you're too worried about dying, I would be wasting my time left living, right?
