No real surprises last night on the American Idol results show.  Kristy Lee Cook finally got sent packing...too late for my Idol bracket anyhoo.  Although I have David Cook winning it all!   Yeah boy!  Did any of you guys think the whole show last night was kind of mean spirited?   Why Ryan keeps trying to pimp David C about his brother is beyond me.  Once again, David showed class by not taking the bait.   Ryan kept asking him how he was "holding up."  Jeez Louise Ryan...what do YOU think dude?  DC's brother has cancer!!!  David just responded by saying it was a hard week.  Good for you.   But in typical A-I fashion, Ryan splits the final 7 into two groups...or that was his intention.   First Carly says Simon is "mean" to her...duh, he's just trying to help you!  Then, Kristy Lee calls Simon a "butt."  Nice mouth.  Think that's gonna get the guy who bought your horse to give it back now?  Not.   So, the two groups are Jason, Carly and Syesha and Brooke, Kristy Lee and DC.  Where's Archie?  Still backstage...smells like the Melinda Doolittle thing from last year, huh?   Then, Ryan says there's "too many cooks in the kitchen" and switches David C with Syesha...then asks Archie to "join a group."  Arch sit in the middle of the stage...eventually Ryan tells him to join DC, Carly and Jason...the safe group.   Then, Syesha is safe.   Brooke and Kristy are hugging as Ryan polls the judges.  Then Brooke wags her finger, "hey it's not final yet."  Well, yeah it is chick.  Bye bye Kristy Lee.  Good luck with your horse.  Next week, Andrew Lloyd Webber is the guest mentor....hoo boy...Why don't they do TV theme week?   It would rock!
