Apparently, we really "got" you guys this morning with our April Fool's Joke.   We kept promoting the fact all morning we had Martina McBride tickets and playing a "Martina Mix."  the "listener" who got all three won the "tickets."   The prank was that the tickets were for a show last year.   All of you haters out there who are wanting my head on a stick...understand something.  We like jokes just like everyone else, but we're NOT cruel and mean spirited.  Come on!    The listener who won, "Gerry," is really an employee of the station named Scott, you may have heard Kerrigan say his real name.   He was in on it from the get go and it was HIS idea to "hang up" on us.   It's April Fool's Day folks...we gotcha...twice if you think about it.   We all need to laugh a little when gas prices are so high, our troops are still at war, and a family in Batavia just found out their soldier son is never coming home.  Lighten up folks, there are bigger fish to fry.

Lori! I'm so happy about your husband's son coming home! Please thank him for us for keeping us safe! Now, THAT is what really matters in life! Enjoy your time together, every moment is a gift!

I thought it was funny and got it from the start. If people were paying attention, they would realize that Martina wasn't scheduled here anytime soon.

As for your comment in your blog about the soldiers in Iraq -- we had a bit of good news last weekend -- my husband's son has returned from Iraq. He's stationed in Texas, and he is a combat medic. He's 21 years old and got married last year. My hubby hasn't seen his son in 7 years - but it was so good to hear his voice and know he made it through safely. He may have to return later this year or next year, but for now, he's home! We appreciate all those fighting and working in Iraq!!!

I think what you both did was mean and rude to everyone listening. Yes, we all need to laugh, but what you guys did wasn't funny, even after learning the truth of the whole thing. What about all the people who wasted their time trying to call in for the tickets?? Glad I don't listen to you guys all the time.....

I admit it, you got me. I had to go into work before hearing that it was a joke and I had trouble believing you guys could be cruel, but when Kerrigan starting talking about collectors item tickets, I was annoyed. So you got me!
