American Idol Stripper Scandal
So, another American Idol scandal? David Hernandez was supposedly a stripper at a men's club? Ew! I guess he even performed in the "altogether" if you know what I mean, like nekkid?
Here's what I think...the rules have changed on Idol. If Frenchie got kicked off a few years ago for posing for pictures on an adult site, then Antonella Barba doesn't get kicked out for having nude pictures of her on the internet...who knows what will happen to David? I think he should be shown the door. Come on!
Maybe Antonella's pictures were a lark that ended up on the internet after her friends or some former boyfriend got jealous? But if Hernandez truly was/is a stripper, isn't that getting naked by choice? Again, ew! For that reason, he needs to go. Same with Frenchie, she chose to be on the website and if David chose to go-go dance, then he can just go back to it. My nephews watch this show!
I've always liked the fact that AI is a family oriented show...where everyone can sit down together and root for their favorite person! So, what's it gonna be now? Oooh, I love Archie! No, let's vote for the stripper dude! Forget it. This is a chance for AI to earn back some cred with us and do the right thing. Chances are, it will all blow over and no one will say anything about it. Or, the kid will mysteriously get voted off asap. In either case, I'm over it. I want my Idol to be a good person. They don't have to be Osmond-like squeaky clean, but they do have to have some integrity and morals. Read about it here. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1582721/20080304/id_0.jhtml
See ya, Dancin' Dave!
