Rascal Flatts' Fans Go Too Far
The guys from Rascal Flatts making headlines again today, but not for what they like to eat. Maybe it's for what would like to eat them! Like overzealous fans! Read more from Contactmusic.com!
RASCAL FLATTS FAN PULLS GUITARIST OFFSTAGE
RASCAL FLATTS star JOE DON ROONEY almost left a Kelseyville, California gig in an ambulance on Sunday night (18Oct09) after an over-zealous fan dragged him into the audience.
The country star and his bandmates were performing at the Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa when Rooney got too close to fans at the front of the stage and was dragged off by a female fan.
A bystander says, "He suddenly just disappeared. He was high-fiving fans at the front and one just yanked him offstage."
Fortunately, Rooney was not injured and completed the show, which was bitter sweet for the trio - because they became the last act to ever perform at the historic ampitheatre venue, which has been forced to close after years of financial and legal turmoil.
Rascal Flatts frontman Gary LeVox told fans, "We're saddened... It's a place we'd like to come back to."
Tell you what---that chick must be related to the woman who grabbed Tim McGraw's "parts" right in front of wife Faith Hill in 2007, remember that? Hands off woman! But since JDR wasn't hurt or anything, (thank goodness), let's enjoy RF's "What Hurts the Most" video, mkay?
