Billy Ray Cyrus "Goes with the Flow"
Add Billy Ray Cyrus to the long list of country singers changing their hair style. BRC, better known these days as "Hannah Montana's" dad, debuted his look last Friday on the Today Show, telling host Hoda Kotb he now feels "kind of naked." Here's the interview...
Much, much better BRC! Very hot! However, the rest of the interview kind of left me cold! In a story from IVillage.com by Courtney Reimer, Billy Ray told Hoda when it comes to daughter Miley Cyrus' love life, he "goes with the flow!" Here's part of the story...
When asked about Miley Cyrus' highly publicized romantic life -- and speculations about her sex life, Billy Ray seemed surprisingly unfazed.
"To be honest, I just go with the flow. Whatever's meant to be, Miley's got a good head on her shoulders. She's got a lot of good friends; that's most important," Cyrus told Hoda Kotb. "I think she's got people around her that she can trust. It's important to have friends in life -- boys and girls."
Hoda and Billy Ray had a look at the just-released, first photo of The First Family, which was taken by Annie Leibowitz, the photographer who shot the notorious, nearly nude picture of Miley. His reaction to the Obama family photo?
"I was just surprised she didn't wrap 'em in sheets," Cyrus joked, eliciting lots of laughs from the TODAY staff.
Before he left the TODAY studio Billy Ray made sure to plug his new film. "Christmas in Canaan," which tells the story of a "redneck" in 1964, whose son gets in a fight with a black boy. Cyrus says it's the most important film he's ever been in, and called it "a social statement about our past, present and future." It's based on the Kenny Rogers book by the same name, and will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on December 12.
